The wines of this line are ambassadors of our terroir and reflect in a unique way the remarkable strengths of our individual sites. They are from selected vineyards where wine has been produced for centuries. Vinification occurs in steel tanks or wooden barrels, according to variety, so that they develop complexity and a refined bouquet. Strict quality guidelines, intense manual labour and demanding vineyard care and maintenance make them what they are: select wines that are finely structured and full of character.
Introduced to its second home - South Tyrol - as early as 1850 Pinot Blanc is one of the most important white wines of our cellar. Schulthauser was first bottled in 1982, and is now among the most famous South Tyrollean Pinot Blancs. A complete wine, fresh and fruity, it seduces the palate with a its creamy softness and marked acidity.

The majority (85%) is fermented in stainless-steel tanks and the remainder in oak barrels, followed by malolactic fermentation. The two wines are combined in February.

A premium aperitif and summer wine, it is also quite versatile when it comes to food pairing: it goes well not only with seafood and fish but also with delicate dishes made with wild fowl. It is especially recommended as an accompaniment to South Tyrolean Schlutzkrapfen.
