Klaus Pardatscher has been President of the Winery since 2019, a complex position that requires rare and often contrasting qualities. While respecting the differences between the members, he combines listening and leadership skills, valuing the advice of others and imposing his own ideas when necessary. He succeeds in creating cohesion around common ideals, thanks to a deep knowledge of the sector, developed since childhood as a passionate winegrower and agronomist.
Jakob Gasser, winemaker at St. Michael-Eppan Winery, faces the challenges of today’s viticulture with an innovative vision that goes beyond advanced technology to restore authentic contact with the natural ecosystem. For him, nature is an indispensable guide: to achieve the best results, he must observe the terroir keenly. One of his priorities is to adopt practices that respect the balance of nature, favoring more harmonious and sustainable agricultural methods. Through constant research and study trips, Jakob combines openness to the new with respect for tradition, while adhering to a fundamental principle: "Quality knows no compromise".
Günther Neumair, CEO and Export Manager, is the person who has contributed most to the development of Cantina San Michele Appiano's sales network as it is today, making the "uncompromising quality" of our wines known in more than 50 countries around the world. As CEO, he heads a team of committed and competent employees. Experience, perseverance and a remarkable ability to read the international wine market have been and continue to be factors in the extraordinary success of one of South Tyrol's most award-winning wineries.
