This line represents typical South Tyrolean white and red wines, vinified in the traditional method and reflecting our particular microclimate and our sites. After a careful manual harvest, the grapes are vinified in steel tanks, except for the reds. Varietal typicality, pure aromas and lighter drinking enjoyment are the distinguishing characteristics of this line. They promise honest and authentic pleasure with great value for money.
Up until the ‘80s some Chardonnay grapevines could be found in Pinot Bianco vineyards. Only in 1982, for the first time in South Tyrol, Chardonnay was vinified as a unique varietal wine by St. Michael-Eppan Winery, and since then it has experienced enormous popularity. It is wonderfully juicy and inviting, with long-lasting persistence.
