Sites: The grapes come predominantly from carefully selected plots on “Rungg” and the „Eppan Berg“
Soil: Limestone gravel with some clay and glacial detritus

Harvest

19th and 20th September

Vinification

5 days cold maceration (skin contact), followed by fermentation in steel tanks with a further 12 months in barrique / tonneau and thenstorage in “Stückfass” (oak barrel, 12hl)

In 2018, St. Michael-Eppan Winery introduced the concept of the new line “TWC - The Wine Collection”.

"TWC - The Wine Collection" label history began when an exclusive harvest selection was assigned to the care of Hans Terzer to discover the talent and longevity in each single variety.

Today, with "TWC - The Wine Collection" St. Michael-Eppan offers limited productions of about 3,000 bottles per grape variety.
Only the memorable vintages will be in this collection. Premium selected grapes, a new idea of winemaking and a dedicated label: resulting in great sensory emotions from a privileged prospective.
