On the 6th of November, our St. Michael-Eppan Winery hosted an exclusive event for a select group of wine journalists, dedicated to presenting APPIUS 2021, the twelfth edition of our flagship Cuvée.
The evening opened with a masterclass featuring a selection of historic vintages, taking us on a journey through the evolution of the APPIUS project and showing us how time shapes the depth, longevity and identity of our wines.
The theme of time ran throughout the tasting and culminated in the official unveiling of APPIUS 2021: a wine born from a complex vintage, interpreted with precision, sensitivity and vision.
To conclude the event, guests enjoyed a dinner created by chef Daniel Hintner of the Michelin-starred restaurant “Zur Rose” in Appiano. He created a gastronomic journey designed to accompany and enhance the wines presented.
The event celebrated what has inspired the APPIUS project since 2010: study, selection and a constant commitment to achieving the highest quality.
